A rare interview with veteran CBS news producer, Robert Richter, who produced Walter Cronkite's hourly news program for over fifteen years, and worked with Edward R. Murrow, Fred Friendly and Eric Severeid. Robert speaks with humor and sobriety about his longtime career of reporting the truth to the public. He discusses how he risked his own life to expose 'the school of the assasins', in Fort Benning, a terror training school in the U.S.. He reveals how the truth became obstructed in his reporting of the Vietnam War and Watergate scandals. It is fascinating to hear his views on 'truth in reporting' related to the distractions of Trump's 'fake news' campaign and how it relates to the Russia scandal.
